Project Child's services are mainly designed for parents, professionals, and paraprofessionals in the community.

Parenting Education and Supportpar 1

  1. Ongoing parenting classes meet weekly
  2. One drop-in parenting support group
  3. Resources and Information provided to parents of the Lehigh Valley
  4. Referrals and Public Awareness
  5. Weekly column in The Morning Call on a parenting topic
  6. A variety of handouts for the community including Child Abuse Primers.

Public Speaking

  1. To educate the community on child abuse prevention topics
  2. Quarterly educational forums for professionals
  3. Annual conference in April featuring a national speaker: 2016 - Dr. Paul Martin, "Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Disorders"

 Learning to Careltc 3

     A program designed to teach elementary aged children empathy and nurturing skills features weekly lessons and a monthly visit from a caretaker and baby.
